The Human Needs Council and Grangeville Elks Lodge #1825 are sponsoring the 4th Annual Community Resource Fair in Heritage Square on August 2, 2007 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. They are inviting agencies, organizations, service groups and the medical community to join in sharing of information about services that are available.

Grangeville Arts is trying to put a booth together that can be easily transported and set up at outdoor community art events. The main thing we need is a small awning or canopy to shade the volunteers. We are also looking for help in creating a banner. If you can think of any sources, or have ideas, please feel free to contact us.

The fair in Cottonwood starts August 14th. There are so may opportunities to create and enjoy art here that I don’t know where to start.

The Clearwater parade and Wagon Road Variety Show is this weekend. This is one of my favorite annual events. Quilts, food, music, car show, parade (usually going back and forth a couple of times) and a trip through the woods down the old wagon road with a show at the end.
