The Idaho Theater for Youth will be presenting Tomas and the Library Lady at GEMS on Wednesday, March 19 at 8:30 a.m. This performance for Grangeville students is sponsored by Grangeville Arts, GEMS, and underwriters from around the state. The kids always love the chance to see live theater, and for many it is their only chance to see live theater.

The Grangeville Schools music department is presenting a concert on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the GHS Cafetorium. Performing will be the GEMS band, Varsity Blue, GHS Concert Choir and the GHS Band. Come see what the kids did at the Jazz Festival! There will also be previews of solo/ensemble performances from students planning on performing at the upcoming District II music festival. All are welcome!

Grangeville Arts’ 2008 Annual Party and Membership Drive is Sat, Feb 9th, 6pm at The Gallery. Please join us for an evening of Asian inspired food and live music, $15 cover. Sake & plum wine available at the bar. Doors open at 5. Ring 983-2595 for reservations.
